We are the “Impresa in Azione” of the public high school Carducci-Volta-Pacinotti from Piombino; born in September 2016 of the collaboration between our 4th class, section B of IPSIA (“technical service and assistance” course) and our 4th class, section C of “Liceo delle Scienze Applicate”, it has faced the activities, expected on the way, with enthusiasm. The collaboration and  interaction between our different skills has stimulated comparisons among us. Our enterprise deals with matters linked to our society, paying particular attention to food waste; this topic has recently been faced by the law in force: all that has increased our interest about it.

What is “Impresa in Azione”?

“Impresa in Azione” is a program of the no-profit organization “Junior Achievement”, officially included in the experiences of the “Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro” recognized by the “MIUR”, that is going to increase the economical-enterprise education. The students make some small enterprises with a building end, they run them, the marketing and the start up. A highly building experience that lets the students get in touch with big enterprises.

The sharing classes, organizing themselves in a managerial structure and an operative staff, work out in real terms an entrepreneurial idea and they run the start up. The business training course, that comes out of it, offers a very effective professional experience, encouraging the development of a set of technical and indirect skills.
